How It Started

A love for braiding that turned into a chair of her own.

Sweetie started braiding for family and friends long before it became a business — practicing parts on cousins' kitchen chairs, learning what made tension comfortable and what made a style hold. That care is still the foundation of every appointment today.

Now working out of Salon 620 in northwest Austin, Sweetie keeps the same philosophy she started with: one client, full attention, no rush. Every section is mapped before the first braid goes in, so the finished style looks as good on day one as it does three weeks later.
